Adsense denied yet google ads on site!?

As posted yesterday, google sent email that I was denied for adsense, yet there were 2 google ads that I found running on my blog yesterday. I took a screen shot of one. When I try to sign in to adsense it says:


Account Not Active
An AdSense account does not exist for this login, as your application is currently in review. Within a week of your application date, we'll review your application and follow-up with you via email. Once you are approved to join AdSense, you'll be able to log in to your account and get started.

Is it me or does this make no sense at all?

fyi: my blog address is www.sofiarodriguez.com

It seems they are not on today, but were on yesterday.

    I've had a similar situation. Years ago, Google changed their requirements to include verifying the physical address. So my account went into non-approved status while my address was being verified.

    The AdSense code was still on my site and still serving ads, while my account wasn't active.

    I suspect Google will just serve ads, whenever their ad code is displayed but you just won't receive credit for any clicks or impressions.

      Crazy! Now it says:
      Your application for Sofia's Zed Card is under review. You'll only see blank ads until your account has been fully approved. Learn more. Or resubmit using a different website.

      I removed the original link I had put in, but I downloaded the Adsense plugin on Wordpress that is supposed to automatically put ads in. I wonder if that could be the reason? I also can't see any other ads on my site from Infolinks on my home computer (It is a MacBook Pro), but my husband can see them from his phone, and everyone else can see them.

      I am very inexperienced in this. lol Not for long! ;-)

      By the way, were you ultimately approved? It sucks that you cannot speak to anyone at google grrrr
