Free Alternatives to GoToWebinar?

Hey there. I'm just wondering if anybody knows of any free/cheap alternatives to GoToWebinar. What I'm looking for is a video streaming service that will let me do facecam/screenshare, and will allow attendees to watch without needing an account.

I tried G+ Hangouts, but they only let people with a G+ account watch. Also, Skype doesn't let me do screen shares for some reason.

I don't anticipate having a lot of viewers, so I don't mind if there's a cap on viewers.

Thanks!

I have used mikogo with incredible success. The only down side is that you are limited to the number of attendees. 10 I think. Just like gotomeeting and you can do a screen share, video, audio. Everything. Very user friendly too.

Mikogo: Remote Desktop, Web Conferencing & Online Meetings

    good luck!

Joshua, you should try GoMeetNow which has the webcam/screenshare/video-streaming service that you desire. If you are streaming a video, you need to share you sound via the Tools menu.

StartMeeting.com is owned by the FreeConferenceCall.com folks, and may work for you.

I'm sure you can do a live YouTube video now - so anyone with the link can check it out.

    It's separate to Google Hangouts.

Go to YouTube > Select your profile pic (top right) > Creator Studio > Video Manager > Live Events

    Hope that helps bro!

Your viewers do not need a Google account to view your Hangout.

Just put the embed code on a website of yours and you are good to go.

All guests within a Hangout on Air do need a Google account though.

Views do not need a Google account to watch the hangout. They can watch it from the Google+ Event page, Youtube or you can embed it on a website if you want.

I sometimes turn the event into a unlisted video on my Youtube account after the hangout, and embed it on my website, so people have to go to my site to see it in the future.

I have also seen people use the hangout as a video on a squeeze page

You should try out Anymeeting completely free for 200 attendees but have ads.

If you do not use the Hangout advice above then I too would recommend StartMeeting.com. I have used it several times with success and it is very intuitive.

    Best of Luck!
