Going to launch my first product soon - need some advice

Hi everyone...

About a month from now, I'm going to launch my first product.
It's in the IM niche.

I'm not a 100% sure on how this is done, so I kinda need your help, fellow warriors

This is more or less my plan:

  • Finish off my product
  • Create salespage
  • Give away 5-10 copies to guys here at WF for review and critique.
  • Maybe make a WSO
  • Sign up for clickbank and make it live
  • Find some IM guys and persuade them into doing a quick promotion in a newsletter.... (???)
How does it sounds?
Is it doable?

    sounds good for now.
Make sure you have a pop up opt in with a free report or so for the people that pass your offer, so that you can market back to them.

They say it takes about 6-7 emails before someone makes a purchase.

Create a viral report and give it away for free.

Use a tell a friend script with WIIFM (whats in it for me) concept

And if your very good, make a buttermarketing site out of it.

    Good luck

Yes this sounds pretty good and deffinately doable, I would use a press release to anounce your product launch and if you have the money for some to invest in software this will really help.

The product I reccommend is Press Equalizer it does cost a one time payment of $97, but will get your press release on the front page of google within 3 days.

It also submits your press release to all sorts of press sites and gets your press release in front of 1000's of targeted people in you market. You can write these on your own but these pretty much guarantees your press release will show up on the front page of the major search engines.

    Hey man,

    It's definitely doable...

    But a word of advice...

    Most first products fall
    down on the salescopy.

    Without effective copy,
    you'll not only struggle
to get sales, but it will
make it hard to get JV
    partners on board too.

    Unless you've got extensive
    experience writing salesletters,
    you'll probably want to
    consider hiring a pro.

If you can't do that, do
the best you can and try
and learn as much as possible
    from this launch... so you
can make the next one go
    better...

    Good luck

  • Personally,

I think you need to invest some more time into your pre-launch. You should be actively persuing JV's and gaining momentum using articles, twitter, facebook, etc

You can just think that because you made a product people are going to run your way.

Btw... I am in the same boat ( getting ready for my first launch ).
