Hot tip for solo ads: Don't use Email Swipe Files
Well, at least don't use them indiscriminately. Tailor them to the email list you're sending to. I run a $7 email blast program and am saddened by the many generic ads given to me to send. Guess what? If you don this, your chances of failure are quite high. WHY? Each list has its own personality. Taking the time to know the personality, preference, and overall positioning of the list when writing your email can increase your chances of success.
Don't use email swipe files that everyone and their mother uses. Customize, customize, customize. I don't care how much you're paying for the mail blast. You'd be wasting your money if you don't customize to the needs of the list members.
