How do you promote affiliate product to your list?

Hi,

How do you promote an affiliate program for your list?

Currently, I provide a BONUS if my list buys from me...
but i only included ONE email in my autoresponder sequence...

how much is too many emails?

i think 2-3 emails is good for that promotion...but would it be
better to do 2-3 CONSECUTIVE emails or 2-3 emails spread out
in your autoresponder sequence?


for those of you who are successful in promoting affiliate programs,
what is your strategy using email marketing?

ps...i am thinking of promoting 1 affiliate program every 30 days...is that cool?

    My most successful promotions have been honest
    product reviews in my own words.

    I've also done extremely well with Camtasia videos
    that demonstrate the product, PROVING my points.

    I think that your autoresponders should have at least
    7 messages. You never know when the customer will
    be ready to buy, and so you have to be there when
    they are ready to buy. Send the first few messages
    maybe 2 days apart, and later spread them out to
    a week apart.

    You are much better off focusing on promoting one
    product at a time. After you get that promotion
    systemetized, then it's ok to move on to settting
    up a system for the next product.
