You will have to do your due diligence on the site metrics. Still, these sites are offering decent returns and there are lots to choose from.

If by "residual" you mean passive then you should know that passive income does not exist.

I don't know what you read or who you spoke to but unfortunately it does not work like that. All those sales pitches with the guy posing in front of 2 Ferrari's with an oceanfront mansion in the background are BS...

Once again you have been miss informed, although there are people here making good money the vast majority don't even make enough to cover expenses.

To be successful online you have to understand:

IM is like any other BM business, if you think you can work 2 hours per week in your PJ's and sit back with the cash rolling in you are in for a surprise.
Be prepared for long hours, sometimes tedious work.
Be prepared to fail before you succeed.
Be prepared to go weeks maybe many months without earning.

If you are prepared to approach IM with the right mindset, hard slog and eagerness then you could profit big time.

I think I agree with the respondent who said you would be better off taking the $500 and spending it on your girlfriend!!!

So you want a nice website or what not, are not prepared to invest your $$$ or time in any type of learning; and have the complete expectation that the website will simply rock along all by itself and spit out regular and consistent small amounts of cash; whilst you sit back and party - have I got your question correct please?

If so, then unfortunately you've somehow bought into all the BS that you don't have to do anything and you can live the free lifestyle all the while earning a passive income without any type of effort. This is point number 1.

Point No. 2: The internet comes with its own risks and rewards; own triumphs and challenges; own efforts etc. The days are long gone when one could put up a website, sit back and expect the $$$ to simply roll in without undertaking any type of effort.

My recommendations for what they're worth:
1. You potentially could purchase a website already established with regular traffic flowing to the website; even here on WF - however as the respondent said - do your due diligence - ensure the metrics do prove what the seller is claiming. This will require effort on your part. If you're not willing to read an E-Book - are you willing to watch a few videos on the subject, so you know what you're looking for to be able to make an informed decision? If you're not willing to do your due diligence and understand the processes involved - keep your money in your wallet - you'll receive a better return by playing the poker machines!!!

Take a small amount of money and invest this in the Warrior Room of this forum. Here you'll find heaps of information, you can digest at your leisure which will enable you to make more informed decisions on what is the best way to proceed; what is the best way to potentially allocate the remainder of your $500 and what actual effort you will be required to make.

You could also use a portion of your $500 to pay outsourcers to do all the relevant tasks for the website for you. This way you can have your website and the associated tasks undertaken to earn you the $$$ you want; and be able to play with the time you wish to play.

I guess what I'm saying is that investing any type of $$$ in any type of potential investment vehicle and having that investment vehicle consistently make you a profit, requires research, learning; either paying someone to do the tasks for you or take the time and approach you will put your energy & time into doing the associated tasks; and making informed decisions. You can't make an informed decision if you're not prepared to do your research and learn how to interpret said information.

If you want to make money online, then regardless of the BS - you do have to learn some stuff; however avoid jumping on the next promo to say you'll make thousands of dollars and have the next best secret that nobody is talking about. Otherwise your $500 will disappear rapidly and you'll waste a lot of your time and energy.

Thought of trying the FX market??? - nothing to do with websites, all about trading currencies. Even so, you will have to invest some time & $$$ and energy into your learning in order to be able to trade successfully, consistently and profitably.

In conclusion:
What usually happens with pipe dreams is they can come crashing down around your ears. Use the brain matter you have been given to do your due diligence, learn heaps and then decide what is the best way to invest your $500.

In other words avoid gambling with your money and make an informed investment decision.

Any type of affiliate, amazon, cpa, or adsense monetized site would work if you bought content and seo daily. If you aren't familiar with these methods its a good sign you need to learn before you invest. Research, research, research then reseasrch some more. 4 months ago I knew nothing about anything related to the internet or how to make money online. Like others I have wasted money attempting to find short cuts. If I could do it over again I would not spend any money until I decided to outsource.

Start by making your own website. This can be done with searches on here, youtube, and search engines. Then focus on content. Then monetize with various options. Start with something you know about.

I started with a personal automotive photography blog and then branched out to internet marketing projects.

I spent 1 month learning facebook ads. You most likely will lose money when starting out.

Regardless, never quit learning. Join the war room here. Read everything you can get your hands on in there

Everyone who is successful gets off their ass - even if it is to build something that will provide a more passive income in the future. but don't de deceived - 'passive' almost never means 'no work ever again'. In fact, the harder you work the more passive your income can become.

Ha! If only there were secrets! Forget that myth right away. There is stuff you know and stuff you don't yet know. The latter is not secret - it might be above your head though.

That's a shame then because you have probably doomed yourself to failure with that closed-minded attitude. Education is critical to success. The right ebook can be worth thousands to you. But if you're not going to read any, then I guess you'll never know.

Don't waste your $500. It isn't going to buy you success and spending it will probably just create another person who thinks everything about Internet marketing is scam and lies.

Read the Warrior Forum (with an open mind), work out a strategy, get off your ass, and make it happen for yourself. It isn't hard work but it IS work.

Patience, work, attention and constant learning and researching. But it's not easy.

The first thing I'd do is buy a War Room subscription and absorb as much as you can. Pretend you don't the rest and go looking for the answer with free information (read, read, read). Then, when you finally come across something that looks really good (maybe a WSO or coaching offer or Clickbank product) spend each dollar as though it was your last. The idea is to slow down your spending and spead up your learning. Pretending to be broke sharpens up your eye for good free information.

I also like the idea of "find a good coach" but make sure you look into the coach as much as you can. Read as many previous posts of theirs that you can, search google, squint one eye until you're convinced. I suggest sending a potential coach a PM and see how they react. If they are hard to reach or don't respond in a friendly rational manner, thank them for their time and move on.

For $500 (unless you already know exactly what to do) at this point I think your best best is to invest in education. Look into buying a money making website (by all means) but I think that you'll need thousands to buy a decent one with a proven (and real) track record.

I'm not bothered by your comment about not wanting to get off your ass, but I suspect it turned a few people off. I assume you just meant you want to work from your computer, not go out knocking on doors to get clients, which is fine.

The comment about wanting to buy a website for cheap that will "ensure" steady income, is a bit of a red flag, and suggests you aren't being realistic about risks and costs.

If a website seller can prove their site makes steady money and has for some time (that still doesn't quite "ensure" it will for you though), then they aren't likely to sell at a price you'd call "cheap".

Finally, I am completely puzzled by your statement "I'm not gonna read no ebook". Why would you even say that? Did you have a bad experience?

Anyway, I strongly suggest you reconsider that ridiculous position. An ebook is simply a book in electronic form. Are you also "not gonna read no book", or is it just ebooks you're against? Regardless, both positions are unwise to put it mildly. One of the best investments you can make is in yourself, including information products (like ebooks), to help you learn new skills, understand more about marketing, etc.

Really, $500 isn't going to get you much. You usually sell things as multiples of their income, so they'd be really low for that sort of money.

You'd be able to build a list, and purchase lots of solo ads or PPC / PPV traffic for that sort of cash, which would definitely start to earn you some residual income. But it isn't something that works without any effort.

Having said that, I'm about to create a new product, called 'Magic Button' - when it's ready, buy it, and when you do, click it. Would you believe it, it will retail for exactly $500!

If I were you I'd be studying Facebook marketing and learning how to get really low priced clicks, that's what I'm looking at now. Not re-targeting because that has got costly, but uploading your contact emails and then marketing to them.

You have so many questions. I remember I had the same feelings like you. The simple and probably the only answer for your questions is "work hard". Nothing is easy specially when you want to earn some money.

There is no easy money without any efforts be done on your part. You'll need to learn how to build a list at the very first and start blogging based on your interest.

Facebook ads program makes for a very easy investment. Off course then you have to ask yourself what you will be promoting -- affiliate blog? Offline traffic.
The easiest thing you can do with facebook ad traffic is build a list in a niche and market products to that list via jvzoo, clicksure, etc.

Yes, you can make money online without spending money... but you need to prepare more time.. it is time consuming.

You must think that your time is valuable! If you don't waste your time, so you need to consider for spending money as an investment.

My point in this thread is if it's said to be so hard to make money online without spending money, surely it must be easier to make it WITH spending money.

I just need to know easier methods you guys use. The ways of making money that are free are usually painstakingly boring and tedious (filling out surveys, clicking ads) and pay very little. So making money with money must certainly be less boring. And I willingly am going to apply myself to any work it takes so long as it interests me. Only thing is I don't how to do it!

Try creating something static that can stand on it's own like a simple site that does something for example I use sites to look up things, you create it once and it works forever, or make research or compiled Kindle books they should be good on their own for years making you passive income and there are more but thing in those terms and come up with a realistic idea then shut the world off and do it. I barricaded myself for days to write my first ebook you just got to focus when you finally decide what action you will take and take it. Good luck.

Join the Warroom if you haven't already. Then you can browse through countless threads by people who believe their method is the easiest, fastest way to make money. And you can find a few that appeal to you, try them out and see what you like.

There really isn't one "easiest way" for everyone. Some people love to make sites; others would prefer getting their teeth pulled. Some people have a field day with keyword research; someone recently had a thread looking for advice on outsourcing it because it was so "frustrating".

There are almost as many "easiest", "best" methods as there are Warriors. But have you recanted your vow to not read any ebooks yet? I suggest you be willing to learn, and just start proactively looking for something that appeals to you, and dig in without too much time spent on the decisions about what to do; that's where most people get stopped; the planning becomes overwhelming, and they quit frustrated and exhausted before they ever get anything started.

Also, please don't spend your $500; just start doing something small you can do for very little money. You won't save yourself having to work by spending all your money, and if the first thing you do fails, you might need that money for paying bills while trying the next plan.
