Private Messaging Trouble

Request Timeout

This request takes too long to process, it is timed out by the server. If it should not be timed out, please contact administrator of this web site to increase 'Connection Timeout'.
I have tried both Google Chrome and Internet Explorer, and both give me the same message. Is anyone else getting this error? Feel free to test it out on me.

    Yes, it happened to me last Saturday, and it's just happened to me again now - although this time it duplicated my last two forum posts (see above). I've no idea what causes it, but it's a real PITA.

    It happened to me too earlier....I don't think it is a remote IP issue. It could be the server taking on too many user actions simultaneously. Interestingly enough, it is more likely to happen to me if I have a large number of PM's stored in my inbox. As I've deleted older ones and reduced the overall number, it works a lot better.
