A question about pen names. Sending and receiving payment.

If you are using a pen name, won't your real name eventually be leaked once you start sending and receiving payments? ie. On PayPal you can see where a payment came from and also who you sent payment to.
Does anyone have any advice on this, in order to keep your pen name intact?

    You can setup a Paypal account or merchant account under a business name.

    You can incorporate, form an LLC or in many cases file with your state a "DBA" or "doing business as" which will allow you to operate under a fictitious name. The latter does not give you any kind of corporate protection but will allow you to open bank accounts etc. under that name.
