Is Amazon affiliate program still banned in CA

Just wondering if the Amazon affiliate program is not allowed in CA.
Also, what were the other states again?

Here is an extract from Amazon's operating agreement on states not allowed:

In addition, if at any time following your enrollment in the Program you become a resident of Arkansas, Colorado, Illinois, Maine, Minnesota, Missouri, North Carolina, or Rhode Island, you will become ineligible to participate in the Program, and this Operating Agreement will automatically terminate, on the date you establish residency in that state. In addition, you must promptly notify us in writing of your Arkansas, Colorado, Illinois, Maine, Minnesota, Missouri, North Carolina, or Rhode Island residency, which you may do via the Contact Associates Customer Service form available here:

    On California specifically from Forbes.com

California’s Amazon tax adoption proved to be an inflection point in the Amazon tax battles. Consistent with its threats and practices, Amazon initially tossed its California affiliates overboard (including me). Then, in a startlingly change of tune, Amazon committed to building a distribution facility in California. The distribution facility locks Amazon into a bona fide physical presence, obligating it to collect California sales tax regardless of the Amazon tax. After striking this deal, Amazon restored its affiliate program for California residents. (Source Why You'll Soon Be Paying Sales Taxes on All of Your Internet Purchases - Forbes)

      Oh good! Thanks, Wayne.

I used to live in CA and if I were to move anywhere, it would be back to CA, so I'm happy that being an Amazon affiliate there is now okay again.

And if having Distribution centers in the state means that Amazon will continue to allow affiliates, that also means that we'll be save here in VA Yay!
