WordPress theme for tutorials?

Hello,

I'm in middle of creating a tutorial site, something similar to this: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript Tutorials, References, and Articles | HTML Dog - it's probably not built on WP; but you'll get the idea.

Any suggestions, recommendations?

In short, it should be clean/neat and simple to navigate. Most WP themes are not so good for tutorials and step by step instructions, unfortunately.

    What you would want to do is find a theme that is built for videos.

    There's a guy (Press75) who has fantastic video themes.

    Here's an example, to begin your brainstorming...

    I would recommend you to get a customized theme. you can outsource it to theme developer and they will develop whatever you want.

      If you use a theme framework like Genesis, or Thesis or even Flexsqueeze, you can pretty much make Wordpress do anything.

      If you don't want to do any coding, maybe a gallery theme could work for you. Where in place of pictures you use links to your tutorials.

      I would think ordered lists that are part of every WP dashboard would be perfect for step by step written instructions.
