The REAL Cause of Slow Starts

I sent this email out to one of my lists and I got a lot more replies than usual saying thanks, so I figured I'd share it here... Maybe the metaphorical light bulb will go on for someone...

Making money online is not easy to do, its definitely not instant and it
usually takes a fair amount of failure before success is ever achieved.

It's rare that anyone gets into the IM world and begins making money
right from the get go and I believe the main reason for our slow starts
is misinformation.

The first time you Google "make money online" or "work from
home", you're likely to read about easy secret systems that promise
instant riches. Sadly you only get 1 first impression and once that
notion is burned into our brains most of us will spend the next X
amount of days/weeks/months or even years searching for the quick
and easy fix that was originally promised.

For example, I spent the 1st 6 months of my IM career buying
courses and trying way too many different things just like most
of us have done or will do. I've bought courses that were absolute
junk, & I've bought courses that were great and that would have
worked if I would have worked them, but every time something
seemed too difficult when the sales letter made it sound easy as
1 -2 -3, I immediately gave up and started looking for something
else, and therein lies the MAJOR issue.

That 1st impression you/we got/get of making money online the
1st days you/we started searching for info on it, that 1st impression
that promised it was easy, fast and hugely profitable, that 1st
impression that gave us that brain burn early on is the main cause
for something called "bright shiny object syndrome" or BSOS.

BSOS is your worst enemy, its what keeps us out of that elusive profit
column because every time a new course with a fancy and convincing
sales letter comes along and we bite it takes us off the task at hand
and its back to the drawing board.

So with all of that said, if you want to skip over contracting BSOS,
the months of not making any money that comes with it, and you want
to hit the ground running in the world of Internet marketing just forget
about the easy way right now IT DOESN'T EXIST! Forget about
striking it rich in your first year online, instead find a program that has
been proven to work, not just for the product creator & their buddies
that wrote a review for them but also for the people that paid their way
in, and then STICK TO IT!

Let me just say for the record, just because it works for one person, or
many people doesn't mean it will work for you, but by "stick to it" I mean
give it a real effort before you move onto the next big thing...

Because, when we continuously search for an easier and/or "faster way"
we continuously make NO progress & that's the reason most of us
must endure an extremely SLOW START & worse than that more of
us will never even last online at all.....
