What is your daily traffic generation routine?

Do you have a daily/weekly routine or checklist you use so you can make sure you keep on top of promoting your website? I'm a little guilty of spending all day tweaking my site and creating content and spending minimal time actually promoting it.

Any help on this would be great!

I only have two hours a day to do my traffic generation so five days a week:
1. Write articles 2 a day per niche
2. blog commenting
3. forums

It's a slow build but it is steady.

I admit that my schedule is a bit sporadic. I tend to look at it from a weekly perspective. I have several niche markets so I blog, create videos and publish articles weekly. I average around 10 hours a week.

Nah, my routine isn't as daily as it used to be... Had a daily one a few years back until I made it happen enough to satisfy my needs. Now I mostly set up new sites and test stuff all day :P

I promote five sites in unrelated niches. I spend one day a week writing a unique article for each ... I submit to multiple article directories using Article Marketer. I spend one hour a day writing 2 100-word blog posts for each niche, but use a paid service to submit those as well.

Right now I am mainly working on long term traffic generation meaning SEO. Basically, I am doing a lot of link building and content syndication (article marketing, Web 2.0 properties, etc.).

I actually sat down last week and physically wrote out my traffic generation routine. After getting started on this routine since thursday I have started to see a big increase in leads generated on a daily basis.

My Routine consists of a few marketing strategies done consistently a few days weekly. I tend to work on this for no more than 2hrs daily, and have it down to a science. This makes things a whole lot easier for me and has made feel less overwhelmed.

I believe that having a plan, setting goals, and implementing your plan for 6 months to a year will create massive results for you in your business.
