Best Local Directory Script

I was just wondering what the best local directory script is. I would like it to be modern Web 2 style if possible.

    There are hundreds if not thousands of sites using our script. There are also close to 100 templates available, so you should be able to pick one that uses modern styling. There are also 100+ mods available to help set your site apart from others.

    Need more info. Will it just be a directory? Will there be articles? Blogs? Forums? This is very important.

    If you just want a directory, PHPLD, eSyndicat or PHPMyDirectory will do great. (I prefer PHPMyDirectory of the 3 mentioned).

    If you want a scaleable site, check out Joomla with Mosets Tree.
