"Is this the simplest way to make quick cash EVER?

Hi guys,

Just a quickie,

Could NOT keep this from you!!

This has to be the most stupidly simple way to make money ever!!

It's not for eveyone but it's SOOOOO easy!

Early on this year I posted about someone very close to me quietly making a small fortune at christmas markets
with no technical skills and Zero internet knowledge!!

She's at it again!!

I've just seen what she's up to this year and came away with this little gem! (made from left over tiles from my bathroom!!)

Attachment 19122

This HAS to be the most stupidly simple way to make money EVER!!

She tells me they are already selling like hot cakes in her community And she hasn't done a single market stall yet!!

All they are are left over mozaic tiles from my bathroom, some small tea light candles and glass tea light holders from ikea!!

She just hot-glue gunned the glass holder onto the tile .........And that's it!!
............Wish I could say there's more to it ...... but there really is not!!

Unbelievable right! But they are selling for £1.99 - £2.50 each!!

The tiles are Sahara Travertine Mosaic 5 x 5cm £3.49 per sheet (36 tiles) (9.69p each)
The candles are £1.50 for 36 (4p each)
And the glass holders £2.00 for 12! (16.6p each)

That's like less than 30p to make! and takes about 3 seconds!!!
(vid of all the bits)

I'll be sneaking some more gems for you real soon if anyone wants to do their own? Just let me know if you want more.

Like I say, it's not for everyone, but it looks like real easy Christmas bonus

Anyhoo,
Just thought someone may like this?
Cheers guys

All the best

Steve

        Hey wulfgar,
Christmas market stalls, you can do a stall everyday in different locations if you're keen enough.

Although she has a following through contacts from her Church which is why she's getting orders Before even doing the first stall!!

Can we see a picture. I am not too crafty personally, but this interests me as my wife is.
My wife says she wants to see pictures and more, what ever you have. She is nutty craft person and spends all my money on crafts.
        Hey Tim,
Yeah I think I'll do a deal and get her to show me how to make all the good stuff
It's all pretty simple stuff and I've noticed the rougher it looks, the better they sell??

        never could figure that out??

Thats a good idea. Handmade stuff sells big if you build an audience for it.

When you get such a simple and ingenious idea you simply have to act on it - before someone else grabs it - and building an audience for that shouldn't be too hard. I can see how it became a success so quickly.

That's called the "real world" It is the magical place where people take resources and materials, add them together to create additional value and sell them.

Sorry, I just had to say it

You can make quick buck with it but it is not a real business. Yet. Outsource the production to China, sell'em to big box retailer, hire a manager and enjoy the profits.

      That's called "jumping the gun".

By the sounds of it she's barely started selling and you have her outsourcing production to China to enjoy profits.

The world isn't that magical. There's a reason businesses are built from the ground up.

There you can see the big advantage of digital products

This is exactly what my husband does! Heard of the official "Rednek Wine Glasses"? He makes his own with a twist - they're Harley Davidson and John Deere redneck wine glasses that he's been swamped with orders for - from eBay, his own site, a couple of craft fairs, and my cousin's local shop!

He's not a marketer so I've been using Twitter and Facebook to promote his blog and products, and I finally got him to do a couple of short videos too. And we embed the videos into his eBay listings.

He also gets orders from his Etsy shop.

His sales are funding Thanksgiving and Christmas this year!

Funny you should ask! You should see the first video my husband did for these - His son and all his rackmates (Marines) went ballistic over this, and our sister-in-law couldn't stop laughing. They were all asking me how I was able to record this without laughing myself. ROFL

Well, the title IS "Quick" cash, not "lots of" cash.

When you're really desperate or you just need a couple hundred for something, crafts are nothing to turn your nose up at. For example, we walked out of a crafts fair two weeks ago with $200 cash, and turned another $150 cash the following weekend.

For people that don't have the cash on hand to invest in starting what some might otherwise call a "real" business, this is the way to go!

That's very ingenious! It's always the simple things that seem to make the most money.

Think about the paper clip (for example). It's a wire that's bended into a certain shape. Probably cost next to nothing to produce and can be sold in bulk.

Why can't I think of stuff like this?

Years ago My cousin and I used to make and sell stones with faces..... yeah, you read that right:rolleyes:

I tried to be absolutely perfect detail, where his were just slap-dash............
      His outsold mine 5 - 1 !!!
