How Do You Test Clickbank Products

I have sold a few clickbank products over the last few months and it's alot of fun. I would love to be a big time Clickbank affiliate like Alexa Smith here on WF and ofcourse many others.

I'm curious what kind of a test you setup when you are discovering what to sell. I've been using craigslist to advertise and just direct linking to the sales page using my affiliate link. I know that's not the best way to go about testing.

Do you use paid traffic to test?

Do you setup a funnel and attempt to get your visitors to join your list?

It seems like you would want to establish a no brainer process to go through each time you want to test a product. Then let the results tell you which ones get your attention. Then you can start to spend more time on building up your site and what you send out to your list.

I know a great model is to guest post for others and link your readers back to your own blog where your list is available to subscribe to and you can market to them once you build the relationship.

As I stated earlier, I'm currently just direct linking using CL. That's not a sustainable or a terribly effective model but it has allowed me to see that it's possible.

Thanks for any feedback anyone can offer. I appreciate it more than you can know.

I already have lists totaling over 10K members. I just run blind tests and focus on the ones that made a sale OR got lots of order form server calls. I find similar CB products and keep testing until I identify the ones that sell the best. You have to be patient though since you're testing a) product, b) ad copy, c) headings
