What to do when EzineArticles doesn't accept my links in the article?

I tried submitting 2 articles to EzineArticles recently but 2 of them got rejected for this reason:

There is an issue with one or more of the links in your article.

Linked sites must provide a substantial amount of value, including informative content. Content here was found to be lacking in quality due to Unsubstantial Informative Content: Discover the Secrets of Losing Weight With Only 10 Minutes A Day!

Please address the issue or issues described above prior to resubmission.
How do I promote my squeeze page on EzineArticles when I don't even get to publish it? Any experienced warriors want to share their tips?

Best Regards,
Ethan

EzineArticles has already told you what to do. They obviously regard a squeeze page with no other content as an unacceptable place to link to.

You could try adding an unobtrusive menu link in the footer to an "articles" page where you can publish the two articles that have been rejected. Adding more articles would also help.

Wait until Google has indexed the articles on your site before you resubmit them to EzineArticles if you decide to do something like this.

You might want to link to a page that reveals a secret or two of losing weight in only ten minutes a day that relates to what your link title promises. The EzineArticles editor will probable want to see a fully developed article with factual info and tips that would be useful to the reader who is interested in losing weight rather than being directed to a landing page that asks for an email to watch a video. Check out how other articles do it on EzineArticles to get some examples of what might be acceptable.

EZA wants content on your site. wtatlas shared a good method. You don't have to overcomplicate it, plus if you put articles on your site... you'll benefit your site more long term than if you just submit them to EZA.

I'd really recommend setting up a wordpress blog on your site and posting your articles there. Get involved with social media too, and spread that content... it's a faster/better method than relying on sites like Ezine Articles and other article sites that don't rank as easy as they used to.

Gone are the days of uploading articles to article directories and getting floods of traffic. You should build your site instead. Provide quality content about weight loss, and get involved on social media sites for traffic. Over time, google will notice and start sending you traffic too.

Syndicating your articles is still okay, it just doesn't get the results it once did.

Instead of linking directly to your squeeze page, link to a blog that advertises your squeeze page. You can add banners, links in the articles, etc. You just can't link directly from EzineArticles to your squeeze page anymore.

Write a series of articles and publish them on your site. Point the links in your EZA article to those articles and provide a way in the articles on your site for the visitors to sign up.

You will do best if your links from article A on EZA point to article B on your site, etc. Never direct your links to the identical article, it causes people to click away from your site fast, they expect to be directed to something related, but fresh.
