Question about EZA and indexing on blog before putting Article in EZA ?

I wrote a blog post in one of my blogs yesterday. I forgot that I did it just yesterday.

So I am working on building a syndicate group thru Article Marketing at EZA.

Today I went ahead and submitted this Article today without thinking/checking whether it had been indexed on my Blog yet.

Well, they EZA approved my article within 1 hour. (which blew my mind away because it has always been at least two days for me in past).

So I just remembered that I should go back to my blog and make sure it was indexed. Well it was not.

So I go back to Eza where it is Live. I edit it and Save it in Draft Mode.

Now it is still under 'Live' but it says 'this article has changes that are not live' since I put it in draft.

I was wondering will it still get indexed by Google ? It is still under Live category but I reverted it back to draft ?

Thanks,
Rob

P.S. If it does have a chance of getting indexed with EZA before my blog should I go ahead and cancel this article at EZA and submit it again after my blog article has been indexed ? ( after copy and pasting it in notebook)

Too bad Alexa hasn't answered this yet...she would probably give you the best answer...

But I think that you shouldn't cancel the article...because if I understand correctly about EZA rules once you cancel the article you can't resubmit it...hopefully someone will correct me if I'm wrong about this...

I don't think you should cancel the article because worst case scenario is even if the article at EZA is indexed first I still don't think that it would outrank that same article on your site in the search engines anyway...

And the benefit of having your article in EZA is 'passive syndication' from publishers looking for content which is a pretty good benefit for taking a few minutes to submit your article...

But obviously going forward you want to always make sure that you index the article on your site first AND then submit it to EZA...

Also, that's good that you're article got approved so fast...it still takes my articles between 12-48 hours to get approved at EZA...never had an article approved in under 12 hours...

Yeah I just PMed her a little bit ago matter of fact. But you are right about the true benefits that I am aiming for which is 'passive syndication.'

      Thanks

Write a better article for your blog, and let this article live at EzineArticles. It appears in the search results anyway. Don't delete it.

You can use the already written article (and submitted to EZA) and simply improve it, and then, publish it at your blog.

Write a longer and detailed article for your blog.

I used to write short blog posts for years, until I understood that blog readers prefer long posts. Now I keep getting new RSS feed readers and my blog has a good ranking because I’m writing blog posts around 1000-3000 words or more.
