JVZoo or iDevAffiliate????

JVZoo or iDevAffiliate???? Which should I use?

I'm just wondering because JVzoo has some upside but what if you ever decide to stop using them, would you lose all your affiliate traffic? Seems like you would?

So I was considering idevaffiliate since I have one account open there, maybe just plug that in. But again draw backs, you don't have the trust of having a 3'rd party provider in place.

As for clickbank unless anything has improved over there I get the impression it's a total waste of time.

So what's the best approach?

JVZoo retains the right to email your customers with their own affiliate links and products. IdevAffiliate is a bit of work to set up, but you have more control.

I can speak very knowledgeable about JVZoo

    First the bad:

-JVZoo will gank your customers emails and mail them competing offers.
-JVZoo's website itself doesnt work very well, its very wonky
-JVZoo has some questionable cookie policies, some how they managed to claim an affiliate commission for themselves on a product that was not to be in there market place and was in a members only area.
-JVzoo has some high fees (as much as 5%)
-JVzoo over all seems more concerned with squeezing every dollar they can out of you than they do about delivering a quality product.
-JVzoo has a wanky interface with features that dont work at all, that work sometimes, that dont make sense or they lack ones you would expect.

    Now the good:
-JVzoo has good support, they answer very fast, even on weekends
-JVzoo has an easy to set up sales funnel system for OTO's
-JVzoo has a one time price for WSO's
-JVzoo has monthly payments via PayPal, which is great if your selling a subscription product

JVZoo has global cookies. This means if someone promotes your product (including JVZoo) then they have bought you that customer so any other of your products that same customer buys from you through JVZoo, the commission will be paid to the affiliate who bought you that customer.

I was confused also because they were getting commissions from sales of my products and this is the reason why. I had Product of the Day once and since they bought me customers, any of those who bought more stuff from me, they also receive commissions on that stuff.

I guess it's a decision for you to take your own view of depending on your circumstances with perhaps the key one being do you feel happier going with a third party solution or, if using idev or similar, do you have the time/inclination to run your affiliate program yourself in house.

Each will have pros and cons. I'd suggest making a list of each to help you narrow it down and come to a conclusion.
