hi all, I am not sure where to post this so posting it here. I am thinking of building a free website a/b testing service like optimizely but offer it free like Google website optimizer. but the main issue is the server costs. I like to offer it as a community service.is there a way to earn money to pay for the servers or should I consider donations/sponshorships??it would be great if some people give server space to balance the requests.maybe we can run it like a open source project using community offered servers.another approach is to open source the code, but I feel a free hosted service would be better.what do you think guys? provide suggestions and feed backs regarding this.
thanks in advance.

A premium version might be the better way to go. Especially if you tie it in to a site optimization monitoring service to monitor the site as it updates/experiences load issues.

You should do something like a limited package for free and an unlimited package for some $, therefore you can get some money to pay your server off

There are lots of ways you could monetise such a service. Just look at how WF does it for example with advertising, paid section(s) etc.
