Default Continuity: physical or digital better?

Hey guys,

Thanks for reading this post!

I am setting up my continuity program and I'm not sure what the best option is for delivery my monthly audio interview series.

Is it better to send them my monthly audio interview continuity program digitally or via cds in the mail?

Thanks for your help!

Seems to me that digital will be faster and more efficient, but I suppose it depends how big the videos files are that you are delivering.

You have to decide about that. Digital delivery is free. If you have few thousands members sending cds via mail can be quite expensive.

Physical has a higher perceived value. But sending out cd's just for some mp3 does sound like overkill.

Hey LifeStyle,

I think it is better to go digital. It has a lot of
advantages as compared to physical.

1. Faster delivery
2. less time consuming
3. cheaper
4. accessable anywhere

Or you can add a CD option and price it at a premium.

I would say it depends on the size of the files you are planning on distributing (as Tyrus has pointed out, sending out a cd for the sake of a tiny 5Mb mp3 might not make sense). In this case it's best to distribute the interviews digitally. However, sending people out something physical is a hugely appealing idea to me personally - I would definitely be favorably impressed!
