Can a Warrior Forum signature actually bring in money? Short answer - yes it can. Here's my experience.
PROBLEM With the economic downturn, sales are slumping, so like many on this forum, I wanted a little extra bump in cash flow. Over the past 10 years I've written a lot of articles, many of them for earlier websites and newsletters that I've since phased out. Good material, but mostly unused now. So first question - what do you do with articles that have already seen the light of day? You can't sell them as PLR... can you? Then again, why not? With even the most virgin of PLR material, once that first set is sold, they're virgin no longer, anyway. So... why not consider myself merely the first user? That way, 49 other people could get good use from them also, and at a good price. SOLUTION Combing through my files, I found 95 articles ranging in length from 350 to nearly 4,000 words. I divided them into: * 1 set of 12 articles to give away as samples * 3 sets of 20 articles - price $20 each * all 60 articles plus 23 as bonus - price $60 total I set up an opt-in form to give away the free sample 12 pak. And on the download page, I posted descriptions and order links for the 3 PLR sets, plus the big set of all 83 articles. Then I created a new signature here at the Warrior Forum, and without ever mentioning anything about the PLR offer, continued my usual posting activities. I deliberately kept everyhing low key and un-hypey. RESULT With no particular sales effort, I've received 82 opt-ins and made 4 sales over the past 3 weeks. That's a 5% conversion rate. Of the 4 sales, one was for a $20 pack (20 articles), and the other 3 were for the full $60 pack (all 83 articles). Total sales - $200 with virtually no promotion effort. I should note one factor that may have affected sales. The subject matter. Since the Warrior Forum specializes in Internet marketing, hotter markets such as investing, health care, dating, etc. might have attracted more response. Still, sales came in, and the free PLR 12-pak is still being downloaded. A conversion ratio of 5% makes it worthwhile to continue. CONCLUSION These are only short-term results, but yes, it appears possible to use your WF signature to make money. And fairly quickly. Choosing a desirable niche, then adding a little promotional work should produce a nice little spike in sales. Cheers from warm and smiling Thailand, Charles |

Oh, and one more point - if you're going to make a post that you hope will be helpful to others, don't put it up on Sunday afternoon (as I did with the message above).
It could just drift down the listings and scroll all the way off the first page while most folks are away from their computers enjoying their life. Cheers from warm and smiling Thailand, Charles |

I've definitely received some referrals that became sales as a result of my signature, and do very much appreciate being able to post here, and try to be as respectful as possible about the rules, and try to genuinely help people where I can.

I've known Charles for a number of years and met him when he lived in Japan.
In fact, I saw most all these articles as I helped him test out the ordering process for these PLR articles... ... which are actually quality content articles and stories with a self-help message. He's got tons of these and ought to start a top line PLR membership site. Now there's a thought. mark |

Dvduval - you're right. Having access to this forum is an absolute privilege and it deserves our respect.
Josefnew - congratulations! Ideas are wonderful, but as you hint, they need to be connected to action before they're worth anything. Go for it, man. We're your cheering section. Mark - thanks for the kind endorsement. I appreciate that. Now should I reciprocate by letting everybody know how good your copywriting services are? Well... that'd be pretty obvious. So maybe I'll just let that part slide for now. By the way, we haven't talked for a while. Let's set up another call to record sometime soon. Cheers, Charles |

Thanks for the info Charles. I appreciate you taking the time to share it. I knew I wanted to be here for the information - never considered doing something in a signature. Still unsure if I will but it's great to know.
And yes agreed - a great place that deserves respect.

The Warrior Forum, unlike some online gathering places, has a unique character. I've learned so much from others who take the time to share specifics about their businesses. It's a great place with very unselfish people.
For the newbies, if you'll stick around a while and pay particular attention to those who post real, useable information, you just can't help but learn. Cheers, Charles |
