AdTrackz Gold and reading cookies

Any Adtrackz experts, here?

I'm doing something a bit different. Conceptually...

* Solo ad goes to squeeze. (That's the starter tracking link.)

* Optin goes to Thank You page. (That would be conversion code - pixel, yes?)

* On the Optin, I have say 3 links going to 3rd party sites. Maybe that's a CB partner or maybe a CPL. Regardless, I want to track those clicks and I can't place the pixel code on their site.

How do I do that?

If I create new campaign links for them, they don't get tied to the starter link, and thus I can't track the effectiveness of each solo vendor.

The only way I can think of is to have entirely separate funnels for each solo and that sounds like a terrible idea.

Can anyone think of a way to track clicks to a 3rd party from the Thank You page, tying them all back to the original link (which is coded for the solo vendor)?

I'm a fairly competent AdTrackz Gold user and I am nearly positive it is impossible to continue your tracking to a 3rd party site:

Solo --> your squeeze (tracking starts) --> Opt'in (conversion tracked) --> 3rd Party Affiliate Links (can't be tracked).

... in order to track the affiliate links, you would need to put the AdTrackz code into the <head></head> of the third party websites which, clearly, you are not able to do.

The only way to track OTOs, I believe, is if the OTO is your OWN product ... in which case, you obviously have access to the HTML header information.

Thanks, Nate. I'm not actually trying to track the 3rd party site. Just the CLICK from my site to theirs.

And, it sounds like the only way to do that w/ ATG is to make a complete copy of my my Thank You page for every traffic source. Yuck!

Well you could do it with redirects. Make a temporary page for each affiliate clicks with redirects / refresh directs and put the sales tracking to that page. So in a sense you are using temporary html page just to track outbound clicks...

    Meaning:

Solo --> your squeeze (tracking starts) --> Opt'in (conversion tracked) --> 3rd Party Affiliate Links --> Your temporary web page with redirect (sales tracked) --> Affiliate pages

    Hope this helps
