Internet marketers, which laptop you use? (13,3' or 15,4')?

Hello,

I'm not sure if this is the right place where do ask such thing, but I need to buy a new laptop (probably i7). I've used 13,3' laptops so far, but this time I might think that 15,4' could be better...

FYI, I need to carry my laptop a lot. I'm mostly using it for web design, web development, emailing and so on... No gaming at all (at least not for now)

      I use a Sony Vaio. 14.5 inches. It's not too heavy and pretty mobile. Easy to carry and easy to work with - wherever, whenever. So I'd suggest you go for a smaller one, but not too small.

        Same here 16.9... I don't really care for smaller, as long as it fits in my carrying bag

    I purchased the Samsung chrome book and use it for email, wp design, and other simple tasks. I chose it because it extremely light and compact, cloud based, and inexpensive. Not sure it has all the features you need but it's a great devise.

    I use a 13" 2013 Macbook air and could not be happier. it is perfect for everything, traveling, video editing, everything. The only thing I would have gotten different is a larger SSD drive.

      Same here. I run my entire business off a Macbook Air 13" and it's simply the best laptop I've ever had. Plenty of power plus very mobile friendly.

      Plus, you can always hook it up to a large monitor while at your desk for extra productivity.

    Switched to a 10" Asus Windows 8 tablet with bluetooth keyboard/mouse. Tablet when I want it, PC when I need it, and since it has a USB and HDMI port I can still connect it to an HDMI monitor and USB hub and use it as a desktop.

    Probably because my eyes are not what they used to be but i use 2.
    A 14" Ultrabook for portability and a 17" Alienware which stays in the office for when i need to work on sites etc....

    I bought the Lenovo Yoga 13.3. . Very powerful, fast, small and light. Has touch screen and the entire laptop can flip on itself so it actually becomes a tablet with the keyboard on the backside of the Screen (its actually really cool)

    The screen is small when doing some things, but that's why I have an external monitor at home.

    Yes, I'd say a 13-15" is best for simpler mobility... I use a 17" Macbook Pro. It's great for working here at the house--love it, but it's an absolute monster to carry around!

    my next laptop will be no less than 15", prob a 17" since they are getting thinner and lighter by the day. Will prob get a convertible ultrabook that detaches as a tablet or folds over or has dual side screens. Will get the best of both worlds.

    I'm actually using a tablet while at work on my lunch breaks to watch IM related content on YouTube and write articles, it's working well so far and I spent about $300~ on it.

    When I'm away from home, and most the time at home, I'm running off of a 13" 2013 Macbook Pro.It's light and easy to carry around.

    I do however have a Samsung 27" monitor when needed.

    I've got a 17" Toshiba.
    i7 processor, 12 gb ram, SSD, 2GB NVidia GeForce 740M GPU

    It's my only computer, though. That's why I upgraded it all the way. I also use it for gaming a lot as well.

    I agree with a lot of other people here, though. A small, portable laptop would be great if it's your secondary computer. I'm actually considering getting a 13" computer as my 2nd computer.
    Lugging around a big 17" computer can be exhausting.

    If you've already got a nice computer, then getting a portable one around 13" would be a good choice in my opinion.

    Buying a laptop and actually using it for business.. thats a mouth full. Go with a 15' screen which makes travel in airplanes a breeze but big enough to actually get some work done.. but you got bigger problems then that.. laptops and graphics cards are hard to matchup to get the performance you need to get work done.. so benchmark out the graphics card adn get something solid but not something so big they burn up in a year. Spend about $800 and your good to go.. and avoid Asus laptops.. they have great specs but travel / moving them around wears out the power ports and they break often and fast.. and the graphics cards burn out a lot.
