Should I Submit my Sites Posts/Articles to Article Directories?

I know that article marketing can help your sites web presence as well as increase your SEO score. Lots of benefits to it.

But I was reading something on an SEO tips blog last night and it said to post your own sites articles to blogs and article directories.

What do you think of this and is it something that you do?

I realize that the article would need to be on my site first, get well and truly indexed so that if it is posted anywhere else, Google will see my article as the original right?

But is this okay to do?

Looking forward to hearing your feedback on the matter.

Hey that's so funny you wrote about this, because I was thinking the same thing a few weeks ago, and Honestly I think it's better to write it on your "Blog/Website" first then go and either Re-Write or Submit it to a Directory.

Also Press Releases are really powerful! It's a great way to get exposure and quality links back to your site.

I don't bother doing my own article any more.

There's a guy on Fiverr offering great SEO one-off services like link wheels and Web 2.0 submissions for $5 a pop.

      His username is crorkservice.

If you're going to go for backlinks from article directories, you should at least make a re-write of the article and then outsource the work. It's too time consuming to be worth it from my experience. Others probably have different experiences though.

It won't hurt you to do this, however it won't really help either. For social media you need interaction for it to be of any value, so something you post and just leave alone won't do you much good.

if you have plug-ins or tools that will automate the job for you, it it won't hurt, but I wouldn't spend a lot of time doing this. O
