Hi warriors, I have been trying to integrate website payments pro but can't get it working so hope you can help in any way. It's for my e-commerce store which comes already with website payments pro module so all I had to do was activate module and enter a few details like my api username, api password and signature which I got from paypal. If I go to my site and try and proceed to checkout so I can select method of payment, the page just refreshes and does not proceed to checkout so stuck on same page and will not allow me to continue. I must be missing something and would really appreciate any help anyone can give. Cheers, Bryan |

Sorry not sure, I got niche blueprint and they have a ready made store for you all that I was suppose to do was activate module and put in api username, password and signature which I have done but still nothing. I am from U.K if that makes any difference. |

It depends on how the shopping cart module communicates with the PayPal API. It sounds like there is a problem in the coding somewhere. Is there any kind of logging that you can see that the request was sent to PayPal and if it was then what the error coming back was? I don't think you being from the U.K. should make any difference. |

Do you know if there are other people using this module successfully?

I am sure their are others using it successfuly as it is what the niche blueprint owners highly recommend having, but don't know anyone personally who is using it. About the logging, sorry not sure as I am new to this side of the business so never had to integrate anything like this before so don't know much about these things yet. When I am on my page and try a test run, I request to proceed to checkout and it will remain on that same page and not go to checkout. I just noticed on my paypal account it says complete next step which is to link your bank account, I have not done this yet, they will deposit 2 small amounts into my bank in couple days then it will be verified after I confirm deposit amounts. After that step it says integrate website payments pro, so do you think this is what the problem is, that I need to verify my bank account first before it will work properly? Seems to me it may be the problem. |

You absolutely need to complete all the steps in PayPal before you even create the API signature keys. The last step will be accepting the PayPal Pro billing agreement. Are you sure you signed up for PayPal Pro? If they are at the point of making deposits into your bank account it sounds like you may have just setup your PayPal account or you are just in the process of upgrading to a business account to accept payments. |

You will need to verify your bank account, accept the PayPal Pro billing agreement if you have not already done so and then I would highly suggest that you go in and delete the existing API Signature keys and then re-create them and put the new one's in your shopping cart system. That should do it but let me know if it does not. |

Thanks, I have a business account now and I definately have paypal pro. I think you are right, the steps I have still to complete are; 1 - Verify a bank 2 - Integrate website payments pro 3 - get started with virtual terminal 4 - Set up fraud management I must have jumped ahead without realising. I will delete the existing api signature keys and follow the steps. I will let you know if any problems after I have done all this. Thanks, Bryan |
