How can I get a rough idea of how many products sell on ClickBank?

I'm brand new to ClickBank and never made 0.01 with it. But am getting into it now.

Im trying to get *some* kind of sense of how many items get sold on ClickBank in a niche.
I mean if something is a top seller in, say, home and family and then the garden sub category, category I dont know if that means that product has sold 5 products, or 500 products, or 5,000 products that day.

is there any way to get any ballkpark sense of the # of sales a product makes in a day, and/or the amount of money something makes?

What does a gravity of 100 vs a gravity of 500 mean? in terms of units sold.
thanks

Unfortunately I have never seen actual numbers of sold units. The gravity doesn't really say anything about it, as it refers to the number of affiliates having made a sale within a certain period of time. But unless you want to assume that more affiliates should be responsible for more sales, you won't be any wiser.

My favourite clickbank resources are cb-analytics.com, cbsnooper.com and cbtrends.com. There you will find some information, but, as far I know, no net sale numbers.

Having said that, some of these figures should be taken with a pinch of salt (as we established in the discussion about refund rates on cbsnooper).

The best place to look is a place called CBengine you can get a free trial and then you go to CB insider I think thats the tab you want to click on.

This program will show you what the hot products are and the up and coming products. Another thing is what ever product you do pick you want pick one that has a residual income.

Why get paid once when you can keep geting paid over and over every month from one sale.
