Best Places To Offer Free Forex Trading Mentorship?

I've been trading forex actively for many years and am looking to mentor a few newbies to learn how to nip in and out of the markets on a regular basis. The ultimate idea is to create a whole new course and I'd like to have case studies and testimonials on the course content. So, proof that total newbies took these techniques and use them to make a living with forex trading.

My opt in list is too IM based - I'd be interested in suggestions as to where to pick up people interested in mentorship? Is there any site where you can offer your experience/mentorship for free for example?

Thanks

Try Forex factory and babypips, make some useful posts and get some rep/vouches first though - they are a very sceptical bunch

Try opening a Demo account it will provide as our training ground for us newbies. We can hone our skills and try the trading platform of our chosen broker.Almost all broker offers a free demo account just like in my broker gdmfx they offers more than one account to their clients.Demo is free so why not take it the advantage to use it and learn.

From my experience, nobody who is a successful trader, has the time or motivation to mentor anyone, not even for money.

I do agree. No successful trader will bother to share their method/strategy to everyone. That good and tried trading strategy is the fruit of their hardwork of patient and dedicated analysis of the forex market. So relying on a mentor isn't really a good idea to learn forex.Maybe it's better off to learn some basics through a demo and or some forex school like Hermes Academy

I would recommend you create a squeeze page and create an ebook that you can offer free.. this will create a basis for the people you mentor

you can then start a skype group where you can share and discuss the market and trade opportunities..

this way you'll create trust and if you ever have a product it will be an easy sell

Someone already said baby pips but that's where I'd start out.

Find the biggest forums, start creating accounts, and start posting. You'll see some good traffic if you're posts are good and relevant.

there are many traders willing to teach people how to trade. if you trade a good system it will often only give you a couple of signals a day for each trading session, if your trading the smaller time frames.

If trading the larger time frames there are even less. Its all about managing the trades. what do you do with the rest of the day?

Not in business...by teaching others, you create your competitors, so noone who has a clue and makes real money, is teaching others. The ones who teach have mostly nothing to lose, because they only know the theory, but can't make money for real.

And in forex, you only make money if someone else loses money, so its not a happy land, where everybody can get rich, its a war!

The Internet itself is the best place to learn more about Forex trading at little or at no cost at all. Here you can just Google your inquiries about the subject matter. There are also Forex Web sites and forums that you can visit at.

Here is a plan for you

Put a Sign up page (Squeeze page) --> Drive Targeted traffic (you can put a banner on forex forum, or also use FB PPC) --> Get people to sign up in return of a free gift--> Build relationship with your list by offering free content and stories --> survey your subs about their biggest problem (Use survey monkey, it's free) -->Create a free coaching program about solving their biggest problem--> Help at least 3 of your students get results --> Get the video testimonials --> Relauch the coaching to your list at premium price (since you now have social proof and relationship with your list.
