Hello all. I am thinking of setting up an rss feed to one of my sites. My question is, if I have a bunch of article links that lead to the articles of my competitors in my same niche and their inserted links therein, how is rss good for me? Or maybe I'm not quite understanding the roll of an rss feed on my web site. Can someone help to explain the pro's of this marketing method? Thanks for any feedback. EJ |

From your rss feed, your users get what you feed them. If you are feeding them your competitor's links then that is what they will get. People subscribe to your feed and everytime you update it, they will be able to download it without coming to your site manually. You can push whatever you want, to them.

RSS feeds reach an entire audience beyond the search crowd, they will use a feed reader for most of their news and content. Submitting RSS feeds to directories are helpful for generating backlinks and additional traffic. |
