YouTube videos and organic traffic from Google and Yahoo. You might also want to post comments on related blogs. The key to success with blogging is getting your visitors to come back so make sure that you get them to subscribe to your list or RSS feed.

Interviewing people and posting those interviews to your site, and letting the people you interviewed know that the interview has been posted and where they can share that content with their audience.

The key, is to find people who have an audience who want to be interviewed, in a niche you enjoy. Each interviewee will expose those who come before and after them in your interview series to you and your site and your additional interviewees. Over time, their audiences will become your audience, and eventually, your audience will help attract new members on their own through word of mouth.
