Internet Lawyers ---do you have one?

How common is it for internet marketers to have a lawyer?

There are just people out here in cyber space that you can't reason with and they think they can do or say anything to you or about you without proof or consequence.

I'm wondering if having a lawyer deal with these types instead of wasting my time and energy(and mood) trying to reason with them and defend myself is the way to go?

Plus where do I find one that knows internet law?

Thanks,

Aaron

Yes lawyers eat up costs that seem obnoxious.
    Yes I hate them.
Yes I use several (for various purposes) and will continue to do so.

Bottom line they are a necessary evil in my book.

With any business, there are advantages to having a lawyer, especially when you are setting things up.

I've heard folks say they don't need a lawyer because their accountant is taking care of this or that.

However, some things are out of the accountant's scope of knowledge.

The accountant may know how to handle your taxes if you are set up as a certain type of business entity. That's great.

But your attorney knows how to set up the business entity in a way that protects you from losing your house, your savings, your kids' college fund, etc.
