As excellent as this thread is
http://www.warriorforum.com/ad-netwo...c-sources.html

Spending money on traffic is kind of link a crap shoot, I have tried many things, ppc ptc solo ads,

My website is bottlemeamessage.com as the domain says we put a your message into a bottle.

Demographics wise its between 20-60 both male and female,

So the question I am posing is what is the best place to pay for traffic that will end up converting into orders.

Love this group/forum everyone here is very helpful and much appreciated

Thank you for your expertise.

I would forget paid traffic. This is a unique item. Not a lot of people are out there searching Google for 'message in a bottle gift'. It does seem kind of cool though. What I would do if I where you is focus on Social Media and try to build up awareness of this product. Also you could try E-Bay.

You need to put the word out about your site. Get people talking about it and posting it on social network sites. Make a video that is slightly kooky/off the wall, that will attract people to go and have a look at your product.
I would also run a party plan (Offline with real people) but it's a bit late to do this Christmas.
There are also website that specialise in selling bespoke gifts. They could market for you as an affiliate.

Before driving any sort of paid traffic to the site, you should really consider a redesign. Everything seems very convoluted and confusing. As a first time visitor, it seemed overwhelming.

Try to streamline the ordering process, have a strong call to action, maybe even eliminate some options for easier ordering.

I think the product has potential, but you really need to get this site to the point where traffic will convert into sales.

Just my opinion, I'd hate to see you lose a bunch of money... best of luck moving forward.

I have to agree, I had to click 3 or 4 links before I even got a price.

I use many traffic methods but none better than the one below. However nothing can sell a bad product or bad sales page. Make a few changes and anyone can sell a dead product. Even the horse and buggy can be sold if done right. Its just the way you package the marketing of your product.

Looks like Etsy.com might be a selling/traffic platform you'd be interested in. They're very search engine friendly too. My sister, who makes unique crocheted items, gets more traffic and sales from Etsy than her own website. Have you tried Pinterest? That might benefit you also.
