Australian Press Release Services

Heya folks

Anyone have any success with Australian press release services?

Most of the stuff I've read here about press releases seems to be aimed at the North American media outlets.

I haven't as yet dabbled with press releases at all!

Of course, if I'm wrong and all the usual sites repeatedly mentioned here will help with a non-internet-based biz in Australia, then feel free to let me know.

But what I'd really like is someone who has had any experience (frenzied-customers-breaking-down-the-door-style or otherwise) using Australian press release wires to help promote a brick'n'mortar biz located in Oz.

I did a press release using PRWeb (I think it was? It was a few years back now) for my wife's jewellery business, and a day or so later I got a call from an Aussie magazine that wanted to feature the story.

So it does happen, but having said that there may be better ones for just Australia - I'm not sure.
