How To Blur Out Writing In Camtasia?

As the title says, I was wondering how people do this? I see in almost every video that they have blurred something out, wether its their emails or adsense page impressions etc. How do I do this so even when I zoom in, the writing is still blurred?

Thanks

    Greetings Trixxie,

I don't have camtasia installed at this moment (i've just finished reinstalling my laptop), however it's done in post processing, after you record your video, you can go and edit it in camtasia studio, you'll see that in the tools panel, there is an option for bluring out parts of the screen, what you do is add it to your video, select the area, and then in the timeline, extend it for as long as you need it.

As far as i am aware you can't move it, so you'll need a different one for each part of the screen you wish to blank out.

    Hope this helps

      Go to Callouts

From the Type drop-down menu, select the blurring callout. You then drag it over the part of the screen you want to blur. In the timeline you can set the duration of its appearance on the screen.
