Seeking Good Credit Card Processor

I am launching a web site where I plan to sell a book. I need my customers to be able to buy the book (paperback) via credit card. I've already known enough sellers with bad Pay-Pal experiences that I won't go there.

WePay has been suggested, but it gets mixed reviews depending on the forum. The same holds true for Stripe.

I could really use feedback from anyone who has actually used these sites.

    P.S. I just tried Selz.com and it was awful. They are well-intended and they may be really great one day, but they don't have adequate tech support at this time, and their site does not function reliably. I lost orders with them and they still can't figure out how to accept messages from anyone using Gmail.

      How many bad paypal experiences have you heard about. I have been on the forum here and other forums for years. And, yes, I have heard bad things about Paypal. But, I have probably only seen a total of 20 or 30 posts about them. I will bet there are more maybe even hundreds. One thing I have learned is that if you look into most of these problems you will find some common things.

      Alot of people with paypal problems have brought them on themselves and are looking for a place to vent, and then there are the ones that have a problem with paypal and come here to the warrior forum or another forum instead of going to paypal.

      Millions of people worldwide use paypal and use it successfully. I have used paypal on my golf ecommerce site for over 5 years now. I have Paypal Payflow Pro. This is a gateway and credit card solution. People make purchases and do not even know they are using paypal because it is a credit card processor.

      I have, on many occasions, had to use there support system. I call the number and have never been on hold for more than a few minutes and have always had a great experience with them.

    I have used MerchantMaverick.com to find merchant accounts with Authorize.net as a payment gateway.

    Or take a look at Google Checkout.

    I'm not so sure about Stripe. Their sign up process is easy but there has been complaints by sellers afterwards; getting paid, verified, etc...

    I've also used paypal for years without any problems. Have you considered clickbank and you may also pick-up affiliates from CB depending on your niche.
