Should i use them should i use about 100 free article for may blog and 20-30 paid high quality articles would this affect negatively my page rank on google.
And how many paid articles should i have to generate some sales

    Hi,

    This is a very difficult question to answer, not knowing what niche you are in, what kind of competition prevails in your niche etc. However one thing is for sure if you want to make a business out of this you got make sure you provide a great experience to your visitors. Now do you think you will be able to do that by providing free content as is that exists elsewhere on the web?

      No i do not think my niches is making money online how many articles before generating my first sale does it usualy take

        Szaby, that is not how this stuff works. You can not equate how many articles you publish with how many sales you will make.

        However, if you select a profitable niche, create a website, monetize it (e.g. Google Adsense or Advertising Affiliate Products), and publish quality content that helps the consumer while directing them towards your sales funnel (i.e. sending them to an affiliate offer), you will make sales. The more content you develop and publish, the more money you will make.

        Keep in mind however, your content needs to align with the way you monetize your website. So, if you are going to be advertising an affiliate offer, your content (some of it at least) must be written with the purpose of attracting your readers to your affiliate offer. If you are monetizing your website with Google Adsense, you need to provide informative content and place ads in a way that allows the consumer to easily funnel through your website and onto the next website (by using Google Adsense Ads). You can of course create content that profits from both Adsense and Affiliate offers or other monetization techniques.

        20-30 high quality articles is definitely a good start. Be sure to search engine optimize your content.

    I advise you to not post any duplicate content, always post high quality articles. Go for the long run and you will make money if you do it the right way. Don't rush it up, take it easy but take it serious and work for it.

    And please read the previous post (the post of Internet Undertaking) again and again, I could've never explained it better

    This must be the third post in three days where someone asks a question about "the number of articles". If you go to a website looking for information or want to buy something...do you also count the articles on the site? It's entirely irrelevant. What counts is the quality of your site/content...does it deliver what the visitor wants?

    You can make a shitty site with 30 meaningless "articles" or you can make a good site with only 3 articles. Filling a site up with 20, 30, 40 "articles" just for the article's sake won't do you good either. Look at your own site and see it like a visitor does, NOT from your own view as a "marketer".

      Yes but can i add adsense on my site with just 3 articles?I understand the importance of content i`m thinking about buying 20 articles at 20$ 2 for 75$ and one for each that should give me some good quality

        Yes you can. If you insist in looking it from the article perspective then yes, more articles => more pageviews => more adsense clicks => more money.

        But that doesn't answer to your question on how many articles you need.

        Let's say for the sake of argument that you get $0,03 / adsense click and you want to make $50 / daily. So you need 1,666 clicks daily.

        Adsense has usually pretty crappy click-trough ratio. Lets say you get 0,05%.

        So you'll need 3,333,333 visitors to your blog daily. If you have just 3 articles, that is over million visitors per article per day => impossible for you at that stage.
        If you have 1,000 articles you'll need on average 3,333 visitors per day per article. Ok, that is somewhat doable.

        Let's assume that you are really, really good. Youd Adsense CPC is $3 and your CTR is whopping 1%! Then you'd need 1,666 visitors daily to earn $50/month.

        So as you can see the quality of your content affects your Adsense CPC + CTR.

    People worry secondary things: how many articles, what keywords, which traffic source, etc.

    Core of your business should be valuable content (in a form of article, product, eBook, video, etc). Everything else follows that. If you can't solve what kind of content you should provide, how you can track its performance or how to monetize it, nothing else matters.

    Read this very slowly: people will pay for something that has more value than what they are paying for (value > cost). They will pay in a form of time or money.

    If you provide valuable content people will trust you. They will come back and buy from you (or through your affiliate links). They will refer your site to others. They will link to it.

    Don't worry about the amount of articles. Worry about the content of the articles.

      The original question was about it's effect on page rank, not sales or anything else. Add on the fact that people think this is a numbers game and the amount of articles you add to a site directly correlates with sales, doesn't make any sense to me at all.

      I'm pretty certain the number of articles you have has no bearing on being accepted for Adsense either.

      Sorry Szaby but I really don't think you're looking at this the right way at all.

          The right angle is that the number of articles has almost NOTHING to do with how much traffic you'll get.

          Stop focusing on how many articles, or even whether they are free or paid.

          Google (and other search engines) do NOT work like that.

          The increase in traffic that you'll get from having many articles will be marginal at best and infinitesimal and completely unnoticeable at worst.

          Focus on producing quality content FIRST, then focus on how you will MARKET your content secondly.

          Everything else can come after.

          And no, publishing a lot of articles is NOT a marketing plan.

          Focus on things like guest posting, comment and forum marketing, etc if you don't have a big budget, since these methods are free.

          If you have got money, then you can look towards advertising on Google, Facebook, or have targeted ads on forums or websites.
