Warrior Plus Silver Membership No More?

I have been paying a few bucks every month for the Warrior Plus membership. Someone just told me that they discontinued charging months ago but I have still been charged every month.

So did they drop the monthly fee? I have written them but not heard back yet.

      Just got a response....it clearly shares there is no longer a charge

      BUT they have been charging me for months!

      Oh let me add they offered to refund me for two months out of the many months they have charged me for even though they discontinued the charge without letting me know.

    I am submitting a ticket asking for refund and will see how they reply.

    Wow, thanks for posting this. I have been paying also. You would think that with all the money Mike has been making, he would be up front with this.

    I am assuming that the free JVZoo account has put a stop to him charging.

    wow I still has active subscription for silver membership until today, this is not cool, I thought it was still running, there are no notification or something that saying silver membership has been discontinued

    I've submitted ticket and ask for refund, let see how it goes

    They charged me for nothing for over a year!

      I hope you have better luck than me as I submitted a ticket and was told I couldn't get any refund as it was a subscription! Yet, two people on this thread did get at least a month or two refunded and their posts were in November! Very disappointed that no notice was sent out when e-mails are sent daily by Mike! Anyone who is an affiliate should definitely not be paying for their affiliate subscription since it is now free!

    Did you discontinue the subscription from PayPal? That is in your control.

    I canceled years ago, but since I have been back, I haven't bothered to try to use their affiliate links because I wasn't ready to subscribe again. I guess I can start doing that again.

    On the one hand, Mike should not have been charging and I believe he could have canceled everyone when the service ended, just like Allen canceled subscriptions to his PayPal account when he sold the forum.

    On the other hand, PayPal subscriptions are completely within your control and you could have canceled at any time and you should have seen the payments going out every month. You shouldn't expect Mike to chase after people trying to get them to actually cancel.

    But, maybe you never received notice the service was now free? As you note, it would have been easy enough to send a periodic reminder to cancel. Maybe that happened.

    Debbie, send Mike a PM requesting a refund so you're not dealing with whoever is handling a ticket. A bureaucratic "I can't do that" never sits well with me. It's only a few bucks. A few bucks versus you calling a class action attorney? It's a no brainer. I wonder how many subscriptions are still active?

    Given Mike seems to have personal liability since Lexico LLC also hasn't existed for years (who have you, me, and everyone else been paying?) I think you'll get some quick action.

      Thank you for your advice! I will write to Mike and I never received any notification that the affiliate program was free! I did not even know when it became free but according to this thread, it was several months before November! It is July now! I will write Mike and see what happens. I certainly would've cancelled my subscription had I known it was free, though as you also pointed out it could've been done by admin there as well (I was in a different membership where the admin cancelled accounts, so I do know it's possible).

    This topic was started back in November.

    I have even met Mike Lantz in person in December, and still I didn't know this.
