About Auto Blogging

How many of you have a self hosted Wordpress blog? I just noticed that many bloggers use so called "auto blogging" where content is published automatically on their blogs.

Question: Is the content you receive high quality, or is it just marketing pitches and other useless content?

(Summer is coming, but the blog still needs good content...)

its usually crap. although with some systems you can get decent articles

Hi Alexei, have you used some of these services out there? There is one called freetrafficsystem.com that I am looking in to.The problem is that I will not be sitting in front of the computer in the summer, but still would need quality content for my blog.

I have about 22 blogs that use autoblog content. The content has always been excellent and often attracts quality comments.

The autoblogging system that I have experience of is WordPress Direct. It seems to be mainly scraped content (Yahoo Answers, YouTube videos etc) which does risk a duplicate content penalty. But it attracts more comments and I've seen it look quite good.

If you have a self-hosted WordPress blog you can write content now and post-date it to publish at intervals in the future. All you do is write posts as normal but date them to a future date. WordPress will publish them automatically on that date/time.

So you could cover your summer break if you work extra hard now!

I have 15 autoblogs myself. And thanks to my articles, each of my autoblogs makes $2-$5 daily on adsense.. Not bad at all

Hey tommen,

usually what you get are generic no good
articles pulled of article directories or other
similar blogs. IF you want a successful blog,
your content needs to original and unique.

i have a number of autoblogs and the articles are excellent and always have been. there are a number of different ways of doing it, some guarantearticles of the highest quality whilst other methods mean your articles are dragged off of article directories, and even if they are it dosnt mean the articles will be bad, mine have always been great,
just know what your doing

quality unique stuff. Anything else is a waste of time (duplicates, markovs etc).

All my autoblogs have excellent content.. I guess it mostly depends on how you scrape it in, and where you scrape it from...

My autoblog pulls in mostly quality articles. Sometimes it pulls in some spammy posts or marketing pitch - so I just simply log in and unpublish those. I find that if I'm willing to do just a little supervision, it's still almost hands-off, and attracts some good comments. I'm ranking pretty high for some competitive keywords too.
