Hello all,

I am working on multiple sites.

I am writing most searched topics for these websites. My question is how to find trends in these given niches ( or any particular niche) to choose topics.Any tools used for this?

Share your views and experiences. Thanks in advance.

I would also go for Google Trends.
    They even have a tutorial.

    Many ways...

    Google News
    Q&A sites like Answers.com
Related news content aggregators in your niche
Leading blogs (study the posts with the most comments)
Discussion Forums typically reflect the news of the day

Google Trends is the way to go but I personally started to read niche related magazines and newspapers on my android device through Google Newsstand, truly great to keep up with the latest trends while going and coming from school..

At the danger of being repetitive here . . . google trends can be really helpful . . .you can compare keyword searches, and get ideas for up and coming terms as well - powerful tool if you spend an hour or 2 there

Check out forums in these niches and see what people are talking about. Just scan the latest topics and patterns will emerge. Happens on WF as well (oh, it's this thread again...)

I will recommend trendhunter. I will also tell you, seasonal niches means targeting them in those particular seasons. I know you are looking for evergreen niches. But, dont forget seasonal niches can be very lucrative as well.

Plus, working with google trend tool, i have found sometime it gives wrong data for particular month. Its like

    Jan - 17k
    feb - 16k
    march - 0
    april 17.5k
    may - 16k

If you found such data. This means in the month of march, google's trend tool was broken

Topsy is a GREAT tool. You can use it for research, finding best content pieces, and analyzing trends (you can search past 1 hour, past 1/7/30 days, all time and for links, tweets and more). I highly recommend "spending"10 minutes and study it.
