Do you offer services to local businesses?

I live in the countryside. We have small towns and villages, and there are hundreds of small businesses, from your local hairdressers to mums who've started up their own cake making businesses, from health spas to local restaurants.

Most of these small local businesses have one thing in common - they do not have a clue about online marketing. Their websites are generally shoddy and they have not exploited the power of social media, or online in general, to bring them more business and put them ahead of their competitors.

I think there is a huge opportunity here, but how to package and sell the improvements I could clearly make to their businesses???

Does anyone else target local small business for online marketing services? What do you charge and how do you structure it?

There's probably an opportunity, but it is probably not in making their websites look better. The businesses I have worked with have in general had 1990's websites, but can't see any financial reason why they need to change.

If you can show them how what you do can make them more money, that would be the best way to get their attention.
