Is it possible to use the same wordpress site on 2 domains?

Like when I go into my wordpress editor and if I was to edit a post it would show up on both domains?

If i forward the domain to the other, does that mean the url link of the secondary site goes to the first site url?

I would like to have eg.

www.shoppingonline1.com
www.shoppingonline2.com

both showing the same site under one wordpress install

reason im asking is because a site of mine got slapped by google and lost all search traffic, but i would like to have it show under a new domain and have google re index the site again to the seach engine

Correct.

Not possible unless you duplicate the site.

Not a good strategy. By all means, move it to a new domain, but don't transfer all the bad links over to the new site.

Is simple to do that, just create an iframe in a full page for the second domain, and you are always seeing both sites having the same content.

This method can be used if you don't want to have domain redirection or forwarding.

You can transfer the whole site over. In your scenario, you'd do this by changing the main URL in your hosting account, then doing a database search and replace for:

Find www.shoppingonline1.com
Replace with www.shoppingonline2.com

There's a script you can download to do this automatically.

I did this, and it worked a treat. Also works for changing subdomains on the same URL.

  Step 1; Get the RSS feed from Domain 1.
  
  Step 2; Download and install RSS multi-poster plugin on Domain 2 here, WordPress › WP RSS Multi Importer « WordPress Plugins
  
  Step 3; Configure to post your content from Domain 1 to Domain 2.
