Tracking for Beginners

Hi all,

I am still in the process of completing my first website, but would like to get tracking set up before it's official launch so I can start testing right off the bat. I have read a lot of posts and reviews about Prosper202 and CPVlab, but since I am just starting out, they seem a little overkill.

Does anyone have suggestions?

I'd suggest Statcounter [.com] they are free up to 500 subscribers, and offer invisible or visible tracking that is easy to set up, simply cut & paste the code that is generated in a 'widget' or your footer.

They'll provide visitor paths, exit link info, how long on site, etc...

Oh, also remember to 'block' your user I.P address to prevent your logins from altering your stats.

    Good Luck.
