I want to run my own affiliate program, but dont know how to do it

INTERNET MARKETING

Hi!

I want to set up a affiliate program and offer it to a very specific group of other business in my niche that are not direct competitors. I'm thinking about doing a "in-house" operation, using software and running it myself, with out having to pay operation fees to third parties, like Clickbank, etc.

So, what softwares out there do you guys recommend? And how the setup is done?

iDevAffiliate is one option.

It's well supported and regularly updated.

  Yep, I have used this as an affiliate and I quite liked it. Definitely worth a look if you want your own self hosted affiliate program.

We have run our own affiliate programs for years using 1ShoppingCart for one-time sale products (ebooks, digital info, coaching, etc...) and Membergate's built-in affiliate management for our Membergate membership sites. Each month we cut anywhere from dozens to thousands of payments, most via Paypal with the odd one by check if the affiliate is top notch, but doesn't want to be paid by Paypal.
