I am taking action are you? message to people new to online marketing!

Hello fellow Warriors,

Just a reality check for those new to finding an income online,this is my advice to you.

Firstly have you got your mindset right? what is your way of thinking?what is your mentality and approach to achieving an online income?

I know where my mindset is at lets see where yours is?

You need a plan.
You need to work hard.
You need to work smart.
You need to learn well.
You need to know that to make money it will take you time.
You need to know you will not make money overnight.
You need to stop chasing the money and one day the money will find you.
You need to know that your business could cost YOU a little cash to set up.
You need to know not to give up,you have taken this route you try your hardest.
You need to focus.
You need to know that if you keep at it one day you will succeed.


I have been a member on the Warrior forum since 2006, but I just lurked for a while with out really doing anything then in January I think it was I decided to take action.

I have also spent about eight years buying into various mlm schemes and become a millionaire overnight schemes, without fully understanding what it was I was selling and without fully understanding how to drive traffic to it.

Reading around the Warrior forum I again decided to take action.

I bought a course to learn how to set a blog up and put a couple of affiliate products on it, then started learning how to drive traffic to it.I drove a few thousand visitors to this blog but without any sales,what was I doing wrong?

Well my blog had nothing to other,it had no really great products on it,it was not getting enough visitors really it was just a waste of time.

But I had still taken action hadn't I and for that I was proud.

I then decided on trying out clickbank so I picked out a product, I learnt how to set up a network of sites with original content and I tried basic keyword research.

I signed up to Ezinearticles learnt how to write articles about my Niche and submitted them, I also tried many other methods to drive traffic to my network.

This time I was rewarded, I got six sales with one refund and ended with a total of $79.

I had taken action and I made money.

My mindset had changed though, I thought I had acheived success,I thought I could pick any product and make that $79 over and over again but sadly I was wrong.

I then tried my hand at a CPA network and set up a small network based around a couple of Niche's but no joy there either.So to date I am still trying to find that elusive extra income but I am not giving up.

I am also a father of three the youngest being two months old and they occupy a hugh chunk of my spare time.So as you can see I find it hard to juggle my online commitments around my work and family life.

But still I take action.

You must know that I am not technical,and I have had to have people jump in and help me along the way,this is a fine forum and I have met a few lovely people on here.

I think thats about it I hope it has helped, for those of you that are new to this business I really hope you do take action and I hope you all succeed.

the only way to succeed is to take action, there is really no other way..

You have to be able to notice an opportunity when you see it, then take massive action as soon as the idea presents it's self in order to succeed

I totally agree - sticking to the plan and following it through seems to be alot of peoples downfall!

Many people take action...but no follow through. That is the real key imo.

About 7 years ago, I started a web hosting business that I still run today. I took so much action during the first year or two, however, once I go around 3000 clients paying me monthly, the 'thrill' started to die out.

I had a very successful business yet I stopped taking action and just let it run on auto-pilot so it grew stagnant. This is one mistake that I will never make again because I realize now that I could be a multi millionaire if I would have just stuck with it, even if I hated doing it.

I wish...I wish...I wish...but I can wish all day and nothing will change it.

My lesson has been learned though...and I will probably never let something similar happen again.

Yes nice one can you continue to take action I like that, and yes I am all fired up but I got that desire, that will to succeed I will take action and continue to take action.

That will be my new phrase

I know your pain, believe me. It took me over three years to break my karma and see something pay off... and it was such a crappy GRQ plan, it's embarrassing. But I made it work, and that's the point.

Make your mistakes- they are key to your success. Every one of them are an achievement as long as you learned from them, and always improve.

The key is to pick yourself back up after you get knocked down. Continue doing that and soon you will avoid getting knocked down

Thanks for sharing your journey so far.

If I'm not mistaken, we were both doing the same programs. On the clickbank program, may I ask if you continued building on the site that gave you those 6 sales? Also, how many other products/niches did you go into using that program before you decided to move on?

As for the CPA program, can I also ask how many niches you tried? Assuming we're talking the same program, could you share how many "one keyword site networks" you set up per niche?

Sorry for the "question binge" but I'm trying to see if I can learn from someone who has already gone through and is more experienced with what I'm tackling now. Thanks in advance for your kind reply.

Yes i do agree, when you are venturing to online marketing working hard is a must or else you will fail. I had friends who earned much in their blogs through product reviews. There are advertiser sites like sponsored reviews, blogsvertise,reviewme, etc. who will be paying you once you review their products in your blog. It's not that easy because you need to have a page rank, bid the job they are offering, (once your bid is approved) meet their deadlines and your review must be original. It will take time but if you will persevere then success will follow. I also learned my lesson when i entered online marketing before because there were times when i was given review jobs aNd i was not able to meet the deadlines or even started making the articles due studies, I got a blacklist status in the advertiser sites and they never offer jobs to me again. Once you engage in online marketing, you need to focus on it and manage your time well. I wasted the opportunities ($$$$$$) before which my friends have. I'm looking forward to try it again and seriously....

I'm proud of you! You have taken the most important 1st step - taking actions! I have seen so many people here having problem making their first $1 online. They surf a lot, buy a lot of ebooks... but they fail to take actions....

ok, i admit i was like them before as a newbie....

But things starts to change when i take actions to create my first website, first market research, first ...... and the rest is history.

just a tip here: focus on one niche first and promote the heck of it before moving to another niche.

The story sounds oh too familiar. I have heard these stories by
others as well. But at least we are not of the 95% that call it quits
after a while.

System never fails, they work like robots.... Humans fails because of emotions...

I know what it's like, i been there before....

You just need to ask yourself what you really want in life and start working at it.

Every time you feel like giving up, bring out your dreams, goals, your family photos,
your "Boss Face" (hehehehe....) and that should give you the extra boost to keep going.

The reason I started this thread was just in the hope people new to the business, would appreciate that working online is not just a get rich quick scheme.
I have taken action but probably not near enough,yes I gotta try more niches,yes I gotta write more articles,yes I gotta set up more networks.

I would of done a lot more if I had the time family take up my time,but I have goals to meet for this year.

I have met a few good people on here and with there help and the Warrior forum
I will keep taking action and I will succeed.

I think very few successful people got to where they are today without failing a bunch of times. Im sure they all thought about quiting just like a regular person, but decided to get up and go again...

Maybe the next time they will do better, maybe not. But if they keep getting back up and giving an honest attempt, eventually it will pay off.

Walt Disney is a good example - i heard he went to 300 different banks before one finally agreed to give him a loan for his first movie.
