Is there a best specific day to launch your product?

I am wondering if those Internet Marketers who are releasing their product or open for public their sales choose a specific day. For example Monday or Friday.

Or anytime your product is ready....

    To choose a specific day is not important I think. The more important is to do enough advertisements and twitting to let more people be acknowledged of your upcoming new products.

    literally, you can only launch once, and nobody knows how the result will be compared with other timing.

    the most important thing is: launch it.

    john reese has an article which says: crap sells. there is no way to perfect everything, donot worry too much. make it, sell it, support it, then loop.

    From the research I have done, Tuesday or Wednesday is the best day for a product launch. More importantly however, is to find out who else has a launche planned for the same day. If might not be someone you want to compete with in a launch and re-schedule for a better time.

    As soon as it's ready.

    My first ever Internet product was launched on Christmas Eve, 1999. I made 4 sales on Christmas day, and 7 more by New Years day. If I'd been smart enough to wait until everybody was back from holiday, I'd have lost several hundred dollars
