What is the best way to use 50.00 to advertise

I wanted to use some form of advertising to help me drive more traffic. But I am not sure of where I can find it at an affordable price. I wanted to know what would be some good ideas on how to use 50.00 to get targeted traffic to my website. I am aware of google adwords. But the seem to expensive. To me this is a formula. I am thinking in the terms of cost for very 100 visitors and conversions to give me a return on my investment

    Hi

I'd probably spend $50 on some articles on your niche, you could probably get about 12 350 worders for $50.

I'd post them to various articles directories with a link to my site in the resource box. I'd then re-write the articles and post them some more!

I find that this is the best way to achieve traffic in the short term, and long term.

Another way to increase traffic would be to get on Twitter, if you haven't already, Ive used this over the past few weeks and had really good results!

    Hope this helps!

I would spend $40 of it on Building on a Budget from Mike Dillard. Then I would spend the other $10 Jonathan Budd's Front end audio. The two of those combined should give you some really good ideas about how to drive a ton more traffic than the $50 could ever produce.

It depends on your niche. If you can get a good ROI on ppc then by all means go with ppc. If not then I was gonna suggest article marketing as well as the second option.

I agree...You may want to try a smaller PPC company many give out free coupons for $25-$100 to get you started. If your product takes a lot of clicks to convert then I'd go with article marketing

Could you explain a little more about the two programs that you just told me about.

Write a press release about your website, then take the paid option on a press release service. Some (like 24-7 Press Release) will blast your release to their partner sites, newswires and news feeds for that sort of price.

I will spend the $50 to get some articles written. Submit them to EzineArticles and link them to salespages (masked and redirected using cheap .info domains), make a few sales and reinvest the income into more. That should get some good traffic coming in.

    1. Get about 10 articles written by a good writer, then rewrite it yourself... say about 4 times each. that leaves you with 50 articles to distribute.

    2. Post them in article directories, bookmark them, create 10 squidoo lens, 10 hubpages et.c..

By the time you are done with this tactic, I can guarantee you will have had at least 2000 visitors to your website. make some money and reinvest the cash.

Take $10 of the $50 and place a classified ad on eBay. You have almost unlimited space to write up your sales piece, a MASSIVE marketplace where many people will see your offer (be sure to use the best keywords), and the ad will run for 30 days.

He can probably write the articles himself. I'm assuming his problem is money, not time.

What are you trying to sell? Try and find a blog or a community forum where you can place a link in a prominent place for at least one month. In a blog that would be just below the actual post. In a forum? Around the "post reply" button.

Send the traffic to a mechanism where you can capture leads: autoresponder, rss. If you're sending them to a "normal" page you will probably lose them.

I like this idea. I could leverage the traffic way better then what I could with the other method.

  • Why not set up a few accounts, why limit yourself to only one account of $50, such as is offered by Yahoo or Google?

    You mean multiple ppc accounts?
