Ebay like website for auctioning off articles?

Guys I have a question to ask. I never have heard this brought up here so I just want to know. Please do not hammer me. Anyway I was wondering if there is a website where you can go to list articles for sale similar to the way eBay works. This would be a place where you can post content for sale and have people bid on the article the same way they would an eBay auction.

I am not talking about selling PLR. I also am not talking about articles that were written to any specifications. I am talking about writing something, posting it, and then having interested people bid on it until one of them wins it.

That's too much work though. What if I want an article now I don't want to bid and wait... Plus what's to prevent people from just stealing the articles...?

There would be a buy it now price similar to eBay. The second part I am unsure of. I was just wondering if such a website existed.

Constant-Content has something similar. You can add you articles to your portfolio and set a price for each one individually. Most articles on there are sold through responding to requests though.

Personally, I think your idea sounds good, but I'm not too sure about the auction side of it working.
