Hi everyone . . .Happy Thanksgiving!!

wondering if anyone is having problems posting an ad on backpage? I've been trying for days to post an image ad, when I finally got it, backpage acts like its posted but I never receive a link to activate instead I get an email with the link to edit or delete the post. Also I can never find my ads which I'm thinking its really not active!!

Does anyone have any suggestions . . .I've posted around 20 ads and I can't find not one

thanks to anyone who can help me out with this problem!!

Sounds like backpage is "ghosting" ads the way craigslist does. I would try posting from another IP/email address and see if the problem reoccurs.

Look up an IP address masker called "hide my ass" if your absolutely set on posting in craigslist and backpage.

Make a account on Backpage then you will know if your ads are posted and or have been flagged.

It's easier to post ads if you have account in backpage,
also they have limit on number of daily ads you can place from one account, so better create 2 or more if are posting more ads on daily basis.

  • Try it in this way-
Clear history from your PC. Use a different and new email address to post ads. Definitely use IP masker. I hope it will solve the problem.

I did all that . . . even bought ccleaner that cleans out my computer which I used between every post!!

I'm using a mac with safari and even tried posting from firefox thinking there is a problem with the web browser NADA ZILCH

I'm beside myself with this . . . I can't for the life of me find what the problem is and of course I had emailled backpage a ZILLION TIMES . . . no response there isn't even a phone # to call

The reason why BackPage is ghosting people's ads is because you are posting hundreds of ads to the same email address. You can spin your ad headlines and ad body text but if you don't spin the emails as well then your ads will get ghosted for sure. I never get my ads ghosted as I follow a process that has worked for me time and time again. I have tested this for months and have the proof to back it up without using proxies, hide my ass, or any of the stuff that that people are doing.

There are methods to have others post for you so you don't worry about the ghosting problem.

I really see no need to pay someone to post to BackPage when you could do it yourself as the method is very simple. You need to spin your ad headline, ad body text, and emails. No proxies or anything needed to do this. This could be done manually or with software, just depending on your preference.

That doesn't work anymore as the poster mentioned....
Hiring someone is cheaper and easier and the IPs are... legit.
Yes you should spin each title, but the key is each ad is posted form a different account - which is the basis of one of my methods. No limit if you pay cheaply per post....

With all due respect I really have no idea what you are talking about as it works fine for myself and others that I have showed this to everyday. Trust me either someone is doing it wrong or doesn't understand the process as I have no problem getting my ads posted and sticking to BackPage in all of the cities.

It is not rocket science by any means, at least not yet like Craigslist which is a different story.

I actually stumbled across this method by accident because my ads were getting ghosted with another software tool that I was using so in frustration I went out and created my own which addresses some issues that weren't in the tool that I was using.

However, as I stated this could be done by hand as well but I prefer automation.

I know what I'm talking about as I have been doing this for months with no proxies or any of the crazy stuff that people have been talking about doing to get their ads posted.

Don't take my word for it look at the video here - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LiB9d9-N9ww

Hi misterwalt . . . thanks a mil for your post and everyone else who have tried to help me on this problem

I checked out your video . . . pretty cool . . . but it doesn't apply to me because I am using a MAC which apparently is not compatible with the software you are talking about

this STINKS . . . I have created new accounts with different email addresses and I get the same crap!!! aside from changing my IP address . . . guess I have to find some other source to drive traffic to my offer

you guys are great I really appreciate all your help and ideas!!

However, if people want to waste money paying someone to do this heck I should set up a service and just clean up. But really it is not necessary it is just that people just don't know and have spent the time to do the testing and research.

If anyone is serious about learning what to do I will walk you through the process and show you myself.

It just doesn't make sense to pay someone when you could do it faster and much cheaper if you knew how and what to do, but the choice is yours to make.

forget all this bs above, goto fiver, you can get 75 ads posted a day for 5 bucks, then focus your time on other stuff, it would take me 3- 4 hours to post that many ad's, these guys back east do it in 2-3 , i know because all my email's that i provide, show the posting times, build a repitation with them, put trackers in ads, too provide to them to see what's area's , and time's are best for posting

I feel you that it may be better to outsource this if it is just a one time thing, but if you are doing this task more than once a week in my opinion it is better to purchase a software that automates the process which is very simple.

It doesn't make sense to pay someone else to do this if it is something that you are going to do several times a week. Especially for Backpage since it is so easy to get your ads posted.

Now Craigslist is a different story as I would definitely be willing to pay someone that has the PVA's and etc that is willing to post my ads in several cities but BackPage, not at all!

BTW - I'm not referring to my software as I'm talking about any software that automates a process that you have to do over and over again.

THIS is what I was talking about.

This man knows his stuff and how to get VOLUME ads posted cheaply.

If this is a one off task yes it totally makes sense, I agree but if you are doing this more than once a week you are wasting money. That is unless you are netting head and shoulders above what it costs to outsource this task.

Just my opinion. Believe me I don't do anything online by hand as I either automate it or outsource it, period!

Well with 75 ads.... surely you can find some offer posed in the right category on backpage or craigslist that would surely convert? That is the key. If you think in volume, the $5 is beyond worth it.
Imagine say a $25 CPL offer......
    {{ DiscussionBoard.errors[8750163].message }}
  • Profile picture of the author misterwalt
It is possible to have some offers that may convert on either one of those platforms, but there are going to be days that they just don't convert. For this very reason is why I either make a software tool to automate this process or just buy one as it is cheaper in the long run if this is something that I plan on doing more than once instead of outsourcing it

Yes you can post affiliate links but I would cloak your affiliate link as without testing it out on backpage first you never know what links they may have a problem with.

Trust me some links go through with no problem and then others won't.

However, when I cloak my affiliate links through a popular social media site, traffic exchange, or safelist using their cloaker I have no problems at all.

Yeah, but Backpage is not even close to when it comes to getting your ads ghosted, not even close. At least with Backpage all I need to do is change a couple of things and it is smooth sailing. With Craigslist if I want to post in a city not in my area I have to do all kinds of weird stuff to get my ads posted which I really hate dealing with which is why I prefer Backpage.

Another alternative to backpage is US Free Ads, its completely free to have up to 5 classified ads and I have noticed great results using this website.

As long as you got the link to edit the ad in your email means that the ad is live. Try viewing ad at another location. Backpage is not as strict as Craigslist.

I use 2-4 ads per email, and I never use the same image on my click through. I.E. I have image_1.jpg, image_2.jpg, etc. I change the title for every single ad. I DO NOT use any sort of IP Blocker and have had no issues for almost a year now.
I use ClassAdLister to automate the process of cycling through ad after ad and switching the emails automatically so basically it is the captcha part you have to do manually.
Again, has been working well for a year and I do get several new customers. I advertise in about 50 of the major cities and I delete all my ads and repost them once a week for a free move to top. Backpage is the only site where I have had success so far. Craigslist shuts you down on this little scheme unless you can rotate the phone numbers like you can the emails. Classifiedads.com I can't figure out. I get ghosted there no matter what I try it seems. Need some help on that if anyone knows why.
