Choosing A Blog Name - Suggestions Please?

Hi everyone, trying to come up with a name for my blog is difficult. I want to start a blog on some of the things I am passionate about, such as internet marketing, personal development and health and fitness. Because I have many different interest it is difficult to choose the right niche for a blog name. My aim of this blog is to write content and share my ideas and suggestion on any particular topic related to the above subject.

I was thinking of something along the lines of "________ Blog Venture or Adventures in Blogging and I tried to register a domain using these keywords but can't seem to find anything. I want something catchy and easy for people to find.

Any Suggestions greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

    How about including your name?
    Signature
Who's your favourite coach/mentor: Alex Jeffreys -v- Kenster -v- Stuart Ross?

I thought about that but I would like to remain anonymous until they visit my web page. I has to be something to do with personal improvement, overcoming procrastination, and achieving your goals whether its to do with health, fitness, internet marketing and doing well in business.

      I thought about
      birthrightventure
      everydayventure
      fearlesslifestyle
      perservereforlife

Can't seem to come up with a catchy title but will keep hunting around until i do .
      Thanks

I'm a reasonably successful blogger and can say, in my opinion, keywords in the URL aren't necessary or even the way to go. Think more in terms of branding as opposed to keywords and SEO for a blog. You could even just use your name and brand yourself since your mix is so eclectic.

My site is practicalpaleolithic.com and was originally a Paleo Diet site. It is still my niche and it fits me fine and probably will for a long time, but even that is a bit confining. If I was doing it all over again and knew what I know now, I may have just branded my name. I OWN myname.com and .net, but I never branded the site as myname.com.

I like fearlesslifestyle. How about fearlesslife.com? Catchy and shorter.

practicalpaleolithic.com is a tough one to spit out on the phone or in conversation. One of my few challenges with the name I chose and branded.

Thanks for the advice Gixxer, I have already registered a domain using my full name, but I want to brand the site by using social media etc. Not sure if I have the courage to use it though.

Yea That's True, I might as well use it since I purchased the domain a few months ago. I just feel a little self-conscious about using my own name in my blog url. Suppose it will be fine once I put up enough good posts. Thanks Gixxer!

Sure! You'll be blogging for nobody in the beginning anyway. LOL

The way it worked for me is I did a lot of promoting of my stuff on Facebook and some of my stuff really spread. It was always individual posts though and post title and picture at the top - which shows up when you post to Facebook - is what drove the clicks. The domain was a massive afterthought to everyone I'd say.

Also, my traffic comes from social sites and backlinks more than SEO. The stuff I write isn't really stuff people know they're looking for until they find it...

If you don't know what to create for your blog name then just use your first and last name or a penname.
