trying to get more affiliates and encourage promotion

INTERNET MARKETING

I have release a new product and it has done great for a month and now i am looking for more affiliates to promote the product. I am giving away an ipod shuffle to the top affiliates for the month of june, but I need to know how to get more affiliates and more people to sighup and promote

I have never been on the aff manager side so I would like to know how to find them and get them to promote. figured if I do a contest and they reach a goal they get a reword - you know 'whats in it for me' they earn their commission plus a prize

so how can i find more affiliates and get them to do volume

One way to encourage your affiliates to participate is to have everything ready to go for them.

The less they have to do on their own, the better.

Write a few email messages for them so all they have to do is stick their affiliate link in there.

Write their autoresponders.

Write a couple of short ads for their ezine.

Write a few Twitter posts (tweets?) for them.

If you tell them that in order to promote your program they will need to write an email, an autoresponder, ads for their ezines, and tweets, they won't do it.

It's too much work.

Hand it to them all ready to go.

  yup I have that all for them - within my aff system they have access to banners, emails, articles, etc
  
  so its right at their finger tips - I personally know 90% of affs sign up and dont do volume - i want them to do volume - i even set up a free membership site for affilaite tips for them aswell.

Twitter Snipe - a keyword base twitter follower. it is also growing into a twitter marketing dashboard as many current users are requesting a lot of features.

  1st off for those that are reading this... Twitter Snipe is an amazing tool for grabbing targeted twitter users and traffic from those users.

if I create landing pages for affiliates maybe that will work? get them to promote easier?

  certainly. the easier the job, the attractive it gets . and an ipod shuffle is not at all.
