If you're looking for solo ads in a niche other than IM, read this first!

Hi everyone,

In the last couple of weeks I have literally shared this on about 10 posts so thought I would just share it with everyone as it doesn't seem to be common knowledge on the forum.

This is not an affiliate link, it's not that kind of site.

This site has list brokers for every niche you could possibly think of. As most solo ads are IM based it is a great option to test your non-IM product on.

    That one was in my lists of list brokers. Others I have used are melissadata.com and infousa.com.

    My favorite mailing device is the common postcard with a message that grabs attention. Postcards get read even as they are being thrown away, so the sales message needs to be on both sides. Speak to the thoughts already going on in the reader's head, and that can prevent the reader from tossing out the card.

    does this really work? Seems too good to be true. I mean some of these like have like 3 million and its only $100 bucks a mailing?

    Well I would say that you always get what you pay for. The cheaper ones may not have the most responsive lists. M stands for 1000 (I know, confusing) so not a million.

    From what I hear you shouldn't just blindly send emails out on lists (especially outside the IM niche) without being familiar with the email suppression process.
    Someone can legally opt out by company and you can get in trouble for spamming people who opted out so you really want to check into third party list suppression services. Your contact at the list broker should make you aware of it.
    Unsubcentral and Optizmo are two you might want to take a look at.
